Youth Ministries:

  • Nursery (newborn to 1 year olds)
A loving atmosphere with ladies that give a lot of love and attention to our precious little ones. They provide a positive time of seeing to the needs of our babies.

  • Children: 2 years to 5th grade:
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 - “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”

The people of Israel were commanded to teach their children these truths at every possible occasion through out their daily lives. The same principle applies to Christian parents today. The purpose of our Children’s Bible Classes is to assist the parents of Heritage Baptist Church in this eternal endeavor.

Our curriculum, "Generations of Grace" takes us on a three year journey, laying a foundation of biblical knowledge.
We study the Old Testament where students are exposed to God’s power in creation as well as His sovereignty and miraculous power displayed in the history if His chosen people, Israel.

We study the life, the death and the resurrection of Christ, our Lord and our Redeemer. We also look at the beginnings of the church and the ministry of Paul in the book of Acts. Finally, we look at the events yet to unfold in Revelation.

While the methodology at each grade level may vary, the intent is the same. Our desire is to introduce our students to the glorious God of scripture so that they might understand who He is and, in turn, who we are.

Our ultimate prayer is that all of this knowledge will create fertile soil where the seed of the gospel will be planted and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit will take place according to the grace and mercy of our Savior.

With many individuals making a profession of faith prior to the age of 18, this ministry introduces young people to the gospel and prepares them to serve as Christian leaders in the world and in the church. We teach the Word of God in its entirety. Ranging from individual book studies to group discussion, we cover all the topics that concern teens within the context of the Bible. We offer a variety of opportunities for youth to gain biblical knowledge to apply to their lives. There are also group activities for fun and to get to know the others in the group.
